An additional cardholder is any other person you authorise to make transactions on your account. They will be issued with their own Card and all transactions will be charged to your account. Jetstar MasterCard® cardholders can have up to four additional cardholders for an annual fee of $9 each. Jetstar Platinum MasterCard® cardholders can have up to four additional cardholders for an annual fee of $39 each.
If they are 18 years of age or over, your partner or child may be eligible to apply for their own Card.

Every Jetstar Credit Card features an embedded security microchip. This innovative technology makes your Card much more secure than standard cards, which only have the magnetic strip on the back. The chip adds an extra layer of security, making it very difficult to copy your Card details.

This is a request to transfer part, or all of your outstanding balance from another credit card to your Jetstar Credit Card account. When you request a balance transfer we will BPAY funds to your nominated Card account and debit this to your Jetstar Card account. Please allow up to 5 business days for balance transfer requests to be processed.
The limit on balance transfers is equal to the credit limit on your Card, less $500. Should the amount of your balance transfer exceed your limit for balance transfers, we will contact you before processing your request.
You can request a balance transfer when you apply for a Card, or anytime after by completing a balance transfer request online through MyCards or by completing a balance transfer application form.
You can get a cash advance from your Card at any ATM that accepts MasterCard®, by using your Card and your ATM PIN. Alternatively, you can also request a cash advance over the counter at any bank that accepts MasterCard®, using your Card and providing your signature and photo identification.
The daily limit for cash advances is $1,000 via an ATM and $5,000 over the counter at a bank.
You will receive a credit card statement monthly if you have transactions during that period.
Yes, you can nominate the date that your monthly bill is due by contacting us on 1300 150 100. Please select a date between the 1st and the 28th.
Yes, please log onto MyCards or contact us on 1300 150 100 to request email statements. This will also save you the monthly $2.50 fee for paper statements.
No, only the primary cardholder receives a monthly statement. This statement will contain details of any transactions made by the primary cardholder and any additional cardholders.
Any additional cardholders have the same access to information about your account. However, they are restricted from making any changes (such as change of address) to your account.
Direct Debit- This automatically pays your Card account every month by the due date, from the bank account of your choice. With this flexible option you can choose to pay any amount equal to, or greater than the minimum payment due. To request a direct debit please complete this form.
BPAY®- This can be done through phone or internet banking (directly from your bank). Your reference number is your 16-digit Card number (which is the same as the account number printed on your statement) and the biller code is 423343.
Post - Please ensure you enclose your completed payment slip from your monthly statement and mail with your cheque (no notes or coins accepted) to GPO Box 4690 Sydney NSW 2001. Please make the cheque payable to Card Services and include your account number.
Post Office - For payment made at any other Australia Post using cash or EFTPOS, please allow 48 hours for the payment to reach your account. When paying by cheque at any Australia Post office please allow six business days for the cheque to clear. However, funds will be considered received the day the cheque is deposited. A $2 over the counter transaction fee is applicable to all cash, EFTPOS or cheque payments made at Australia Post.
This is when the estimated value of a purchase; for example, a hotel stay, that has been held for a period of days to allow the merchant to process the transaction. An outstanding authorisation reduces the cardholder’s available credit, but not the balance owing on the Card.
Yes, you can authorise a third party to access information about your account by completing an Authorised Representative Request Form. This form can be downloaded via MyCards.

If you are a Jetstar Platinum MasterCard account holder, you will automatically qualify for a $200 Jetstar Travel Voucher when your Jetstar Dollars balance reaches 200 Jetstar Dollars.
Jetstar will email you your Jetstar Travel Vouchers automatically once you have qualified for a $100 travel voucher for Jetstar MasterCard account holders or a $200 travel voucher for Jetstar Platinum MasterCard account holders. Your Jetstar Travel Vouchers will be emailed to the last email address you have provided to us. Please ensure that you provide us with a valid email address at all times.
Before the Jetstar Travel Vouchers are issued automatically by Jetstar, you can also request an early redemption of your Jetstar Dollars for a $25 Jetstar Travel Voucher in increments of 25 Jetstar Dollars by calling 1300 150 100, provided your Jetstar Dollars balance is at least 25 Jetstar Dollars. You cannot redeem your Jetstar Dollars where your Jetstar Dollars balance is less than 25 Jetstar Dollars. Jetstar Dollars cannot be deferred for the purpose of gaining a higher value to use at a later date. Please allow up to five working days to process your Jetstar Travel Voucher.
You can update your email address in accordance with clause 3 of the Conditions of Use, namely:

Jetstar Travel Vouchers are redeemable up to the value stated for Jetstar flights and holiday products only, which includes Packages, Accommodation, Activities, Transfers, Parking, Insurance, taxes, fees and other charges associated with normal Jetstar internet or telephone reservation bookings.
Visit Jetstar.com to search and select your flights and holiday products. When you reach the payment section click on the Voucher tab and complete the details. If the amount due is greater than the voucher value you will be required to pay the difference by either credit card (a credit card fee applies unless you use your Jetstar MasterCard or Jetstar Platinum MasterCard) or direct deposit. Jetstar Travel Vouchers must be used in a single transaction so if the amount due is less than the travel voucher value you will forfeit the balance. A credit will not be issued. Jetstar Travel Vouchers can also be used for flights booked through Jetstar on 131 538.
All travel is subject to availability at the time of booking, the fares quoted at the time of booking and Jetstar's Conditions of Carriage. The standard JetSaver Light, JetSaver, or JetFlex fare rules apply according to the fare type you selected when booking. Jetstar Travel Vouchers will be issued in your name, which means only you may use your Jetstar Travel Voucher to book flights. You do not have to be one of the passengers travelling, but you must be named as the contact in the booking and the passenger must be related to you. A person ’related to you’ means any person you can demonstrate, to our reasonable satisfaction, as being related to you in any of the ways described below:
Travel must be booked or purchased within 6 months from the date your Jetstar Travel Voucher is issued. The issue date appears on the top right hand corner of the voucher. Booking dates and travel dates will be strictly applied.
For matters regarding missing Jetstar Dollars call Card Services on 1300 150 100. Note that disputes regarding missing Jetstar Dollars will not be accepted more than three (3) months after the date of the relevant Transaction.
Jetstar Dollars do not expire provided your Account is open. If you close your Account or die, your participation in Jetstar Dollars is automatically cancelled and all Jetstar Dollars accrued are forfeited.
Your Jetstar Dollars may not be transferred to another person for any reason. We may discontinue Jetstar Dollars at any time at our discretion. We will notify you as soon as practicable of the termination and you will have 30 days from the date of termination to redeem your Jetstar Dollars.
You can view your Jetstar Dollar balance by logging into MyCards.
We may adjust your total Jetstar Dollars (backdating the adjustment if necessary) if Jetstar Dollars have been incorrectly credited or debited for any reason.

If we are aware that you are in breach of your Credit Card; Conditions of Use booklet or your Account is suspended or cancelled, your available Jetstar Dollars balance will show as zero (0). You will continue to accrue Jetstar Dollars on your account during this period.

If you are an existing Qantas Frequent Flyer Program member and want to link your Jetstar Platinum MasterCard or Jetstar Mastercard to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards, call Card Services on 1300 150 100, provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number when you activate your Card or at anytime you wish to switch from Jetstar Dollars and start earning Qantas Frequent Flyer Points immediately. A $30 per annum opt-in fee applies to the Jetstar Mastercard.
If you are not already a Qantas Frequent Flyer Program member, you can still opt in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards, but you will first need to become a Qantas Frequent Flyer Program member and provide us with your membership number before any points can be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account. Jetstar Platinum MasterCard or Jetstar Mastercard customers who opt in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards are being offered complimentary membership to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program (a saving of $89.50).
Before any Qantas Frequent Flyer Points can be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, you must supply us with a valid Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number. The name on your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account must be identical to the name on your Card. We will request your Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number at the time you elect to accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (i.e when you elect to link your Account to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards).
It is your obligation to ensure that we have the correct Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number on file for you and that the name on your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account matches the name on your Account. Please contact us if your personal information changes, if we do not have your correct Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number or if your points are not being credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account.
If you elect to link your Account to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards, you will accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer Points as set out below:
Jetstar Platinum Mastercard holders will accrue 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer Point for every $1 spend. Jetstar Mastercard holders will accrue 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer point for every $2 spent on eligible purchases.
Qantas Frequent Flyer Points earned on eligible Purchases made on your Account by Additional Cardholders may only be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account and not the Qantas Frequent Flyer Account of any Additional Cardholders.
Once the Qantas Frequent Flyer Points are credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program terms and conditions will govern when those Qantas Frequent Flyer Points will expire.
All eligible Purchases will accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer Points, up to an annual maximum of:
during each year that you elect to accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in the Jetstar MasterCard Rewards Program.
The limit will be re-set on the anniversary of your enrolment to accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in the Jetstar MasterCard Rewards Program.
There is no annual enrolment fee for the Jetstar Platinum MasterCard for the Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards option. A $30 per annum opt-in fee applies for the Jetstar Mastercard.

Qantas Frequent Flyer Points can only be redeemed once they have been credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account. Qantas Frequent Flyer Points can only be redeemed through the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program and only in accordance with the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program terms and conditions. For more information on the redemption options for your Qantas Frequent Flyer Points, visit www.qantas.com/frequentflyer.
The Qantas Frequent Flyer Points that you have accrued using your Jetstar Platinum Mastercard or Jetstar Mastercard in the Statement Period will appear on your monthly Card statement or you can view the current Statement Period balance by visiting www.jetstar.com/cards and click on online services login.
To view the total number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points you have accrued using your Card, you will need to log in to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account at www.qantas.com/frequentflyer.
If we have not received your valid Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number, we will attempt to credit your accrued Qantas Frequent Flyer Points to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, each month for up to 12 months. At the end of each Statement Period, we will notify Qantas of the number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accumulated on your Account. When we notify Qantas of your accumulated Qantas Frequent Flyer Points, the number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accumulated on your Account will show zero. If Qantas cannot credit your accumulated Qantas Frequent Flyer Points to a valid Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, Qantas will notify us that they do not hold a Qantas Frequent Flyer Account matching your details. The points will be credited back to your Account and the number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accumulated on your Account and not credited will again be displayed.
The Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accrued during a Statement Period will be notified to Qantas who will add these to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, usually within 5 business days of the end of that Statement Period.
If you cease to be a Qantas Frequent Flyer Program member, it is your responsibility to contact our call centre to request a Rewards Switch to the Jetstar Dollars Program. As we notify Qantas of any accumulated Qantas Frequent Flyer Points at the end of each Statement Period, any Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accumulated on your Account at the time you cease to be a Qantas Frequent Flyer Program member will be forfeited at the time of the Rewards Switch request.
On termination or cancellation of your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, your Qantas Frequent Flyer Points will be dealt with in accordance with the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program terms and conditions.
You may switch between accruing Jetstar Dollars and Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (or vice versa) by contacting our call centre on 1300 150 100 and requesting a Rewards Switch from the Jetstar Dollars Program to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards (or vice versa). A maximum of one Rewards Switch per Account may be requested in each 12 month period following the issue of your Card and your enrolment in the Jetstar MasterCard Rewards Program.
A fee will be applied to your Account for each Rewards Switch request. The fee applicable to a Rewards Switch will be set out in the Offer document sent to you with your Card, or you can ask us when you contact our call centre.
Jetstar Dollars and Qantas Frequent Flyer Points are not convertible into cash, and cannot be converted from one form into the other.
