Café China
Highly awarded Chinese restaurant with excellent food from an extensive menu and a big wine list. The space is large and can be very busy, but the service is smooth and professional.
There is also a noodle bar attached to the Reef Casino with super fast service and very good, cheap food.

Cairns Golf Club
The Cairns Golf Club has an 18 hole golf course with full amenities available from the professional shop including hire equipment.
The air-conditioned Clubhouse facilities are available to members and visitors. This includes a full range of beverages, gaming machines and food.
Cairns Esplanade and Lagoon Complex
The Cairns Esplanade has been a focal point for locals and visitors in Cairns city since the region was founded in the late 1800s. It is a recreational area for people from all walks of life – backpackers travelling around Australia, couples having an early morning jog, teenagers using the skateboard ramp, CBD workers resting on the grass for lunch, and countless more.
The foreshore has been transformed from a tidal mudflat swamp into a world-class facility incorporating an outdoor amphitheatre, a large sandy swimming lagoon, grassy picnic areas, walking tracks, public barbeques, children’s playground, shops and restaurants, an environmental interpretation centre and a Great Barrier Reef Cruise departure terminal.
Lagoon Complex
The swimming lagoon is capable of accommodating 1000 swimmers at a time. It is open for free public use between 6am and 10pm daily.
Sofitel Reef Casino Cairns
The Sofitel Reef Casino is regarded as Australia’s finest boutique casino, and is the only casino in Far North Queensland.
The casino has a New York style nightclub called 1936, which is very popular with visitors to the region. Vertigo Bar is a newly renovated bar in the foyer of the casino with spectacular blue lit drinks tables, live entertainment on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights, and a curtain of chains separating it from the main foyer area.
Cairns Rainforest Dome is a recent attraction to open within the Cairns casino complex featuring a spectacular all weather wildlife exhibit encased by a 20 metre high glass dome on the rooftop of the casino. 100 species of Australian animals are able to wander and fly freely throughout the dome which replicates their natural environment.
