Our major art museum is the Art Gallery of SA on North Terrace. The gallery has the most comprehensive collection of Australian colonial art (including the much-loved Australian Impressionists), and fine examples of Western Desert dot paintings, Rodin sculptures, British and Islamic Art.

Royal Adelaide Zoo
Adelaide Zoo is home to over 3,400 animals and almost 300 species of exotic and native mammals, birds, reptiles and fish exhibited in magnificent botanic surroundings now expanded to 8 hectares.
The Zoo focuses on endangered and rare animals from continents which made up Gondwana - key exhibits are South East Asian Rainforest, Seal Bay, Australian Rainforest Wetlands walk-through aviary, Africa, South America, India, Nocturnal House and Reptile House.
