Important cabin baggage information for flights from Vietnam

The below cabin baggage restrictions will affect customers flying from Vietnam, including transfer and transit customers.

Liquids, gels and aerosols carried in passenger cabin baggage must be carried in bottles, vials or containers with a maximum capacity of 100ml per container and packed in a clear, re-sealable plastic bag. The total volume of the bag must not exceed 1 litre. Only one plastic bag per passenger is permitted.

Medications and special dietary requirements, including baby formula/food (when travelling with a baby/infant) are exempt from these restrictions. Medications must be accompanied by prescriptions that clearly state the name and address of the prescribing doctor. The name on the prescription must match the passenger's name.

Liquids, aerosols and gels purchased from duty-free shops in Vietnam airports, located after security screening points, will be exempt from these restrictions, provided they are packed in a transparent, sealed plastic bag and proof of purchase is displayed on/in the bag.
