Tips for travelling to Hamilton Island

When transferring from international flights to Jetstar flights, you will always need to first collect your baggage and clear customs, then proceed with your baggage to Jetstar Check In located in the domestic terminal.

• If guests are arriving on a flight before resort checkin time of 2pm, the resort recommends you carry a 'day bag' with swimming costumes, sunscreen, a hat etc. so you can begin your holiday straight away. Lockers, change rooms, and shower facilities are available in the Hospitality Lounge in the lobby of the Reef View Hotel.
• Bring swimming costumes (towels are provided), sunscreen, a hat, comfortable walking shoes, smart casual attire for dining out, a lightweight jacket for the evenings and cooler months, and the book you've been meaning to finish!
• Credit card details will be required on arrival to set up room charge accounts. All major credit cards are accepted. EFTPOS is available at hotel receptions, and ATM's are available at the Resort Centre and Marina Village.
• If scuba diving is on the agenda, please bring along a medical certificate, or if more advanced, proof of diving certification is strongly recommended.
