With the ability to book mixed itineraries, choice and flexibility are always ensured. For example, customers can choose to book a Starter Fare one way and a Starter Max on the return. Our hassle-free product and service offering will allow your customers to:

  • Use Jetstar’s streamlined check-in process to avoid airport queues, including online check-in, mobile boarding passes, airport kiosks and bag drop counters. Please note: these services are not available on all flights or from all terminals and conditions apply.
  • Select extra legroom or upfront seating for a more comfortable trip and be among the first off the plane
  • Pre-purchase food, drink and entertainment
  • Experience our award-winning on-board service
  • Receive advanced SMS notifications in the event of a delay of more than 30 minutes, or a cancellation, before check-in (assuming a customer’s booking has the relevant mobile phone number attached and Jetstar has prior knowledge of the delay or cancellation)
  • Access to Qantas Club Lounges where available (eligible passengers only) to relax, enjoy complimentary food and drink, and find a quiet place to rest
  • Be rewarded for their loyalty when travelling on an eligible fare by accumulating Qantas Points

Remuneration

To be eligible for remuneration, you must be located in Australia, Taiwan, Indonesia or Thailand and be a registered agent with Jetstar:

  • Jetstar remunerates you via Gross Fares
  • Once configured for Gross Fares, all bookings made via the Jetstar Agent Hub and through Jetstar's API attract remuneration
  • GDS and Call centre bookings are not remunerable
  • Gross fares attract a fixed remuneration per passenger segment sold as per the table below
  • Remuneration is determined by the base currency the fare is sold in (e.g. an agent in Australia selling an HKD fare will receive HKD $25 per passenger segment. This amount will be converted to AUD at time of payment.)
  • Remuneration amounts may change from time to time so please check back for updates

Registration

It’s easy to register your agency with Jetstar and you don’t need to be IATA approved!

To register you will need the following information

  • IATA accredited agents: Please use your IATA,TIDS (Travel Industry Designator Service) or DAPA number in the application process
  • Non IATA approved agents: Jetstar will create a unique organisation code for you
  • Contact information: Our primary means of communicating with you will be via email. We will use your email address to send monthly reporting (if requested) and communicate important announcements
  • Travel agency license number (if you are required to hold a license in your country)
  • Name of your GDS provider (if applicable)
  • Australian based travel agencies must provide an Australian Business Number (ABN); and New Zealand based agencies must provide a Goods and Services Tax Number (GST Number)
  • Bank account details: If requested, please provide details of your bank account (including BSB, Bank and Branch details, Account Name, Account Number, and bank address)

Once your registration has been submitted, please allow up to five business days for Jetstar to process your request. Once your account has been activated you will receive a notification from Jetstar via email.
