Airbus A320-200

They're new and beautiful. They're bold and vibrant. Keep your eyes peeled for our new fleet of A320s. One of the first things you'll notice about them is the comfortable leather seating. The A320 can carry 177 passengers within Australia and New Zealand and 180 passengers on intra Asia flights and offers you the widest cabin of any single-aisle aircraft in the sky. It is a proven and reliable aircraft with low operating costs - this means more savings for our customers - YOU.

Airbus A330-200

Jetstar's international long-haul services will initially be operated by a fleet of Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Configured into two cabins, StarClass and economy, the aircraft has a total capacity of 303 passengers. The cabin interiors will be refurbished to reflect the Jetstar colour scheme and comfort levels, including all seats being upholstered with grey leather.

Boeing 787-800

From early 2009, Jetstar will take delivery of its first Dreamliner aircraft, the Boeing 787-8 that will also be configured into two cabins - StarClass and economy class. Jetstar will be the first airline in Australia to use these state of the art aircraft, which will have the largest cabin windows on any commercial wide-body aircraft. Passengers can control the light coming through the window using an electrically dimmable window shade control, avoiding the need for a shutter. The aircraft even has an advanced air purification system providing a higher quality of air to every passenger.
