Terms and Conditions

• This offer does not apply to JetSaver Light fares.
• This offer applies only to direct flights operated by Jetstar Airways Pty Limited with a flight number beginning with JQ. It does not apply to 3K and VF flights.
• The lower fare must be available when you call the Jetstar call centre (numbers below), through a website available in the English language and of the same currency, so we can verify the fare. The JetSaver fare must also be available at the same time.
• The applicable flight on the other airline must be a direct flight for the exact route departing and arriving at the same airports as the applicable Jetstar flight, and must be scheduled to depart:
  • within 1 hour of the applicable Jetstar flight, in the case of domestic Australia and short haul international flights (ie direct flights wholly within Australia, or direct flights between Australia and Singapore or New Zealand); or
  • on the same day as the applicable Jetstar flight, in the case of long haul international flights (ie direct flights between Australia and other Jetstar international destinations).
• Notify Jetstar of the details of the lower fare, including the address of the website where you found it, when you call to purchase your JetSaver fare.
• Once our reservations agent has verified the other airline's fare is lower, and you have purchased the applicable JetSaver fare, we will email a voucher for double the difference to you within 31 days after your purchase.
• The offer can only be used when identifying a lower online fare prior to booking. Claims cannot be made after a booking has taken place.
• The voucher amount will be DOUBLE the difference between the JetSaver fare you purchased and the other airline's lower fare, as verified by the Jetstar reservations agent. The voucher amount will be in the same currency as your JetSaver purchase.
• For the purpose of verifying the fare difference, all applicable surcharges, fees, and taxes and additional amounts charged in relation to making a booking will be included. No additional amount for telephone bookings will apply to JetSaver fares purchased under this offer.
• Vouchers will be valid for bookings within 6 months, and travel within 12 months, from the date of issue of the voucher, and can be used solely for the purchase or part-payment of airfares from Jetstar during the validity period.
• Vouchers will be issued in each of the passengers' names and emailed to the person who makes the payment for the JetSaver booking. Vouchers are not transferable and must only be used by the person whose name appears on the voucher.
• Vouchers can only be used once and any unused portion of the value of a voucher will be forfeited. For example, if a voucher is used to make payment for a booking where the total amount comes to of less than the value of the voucher, then the remaining value is forfeited. Outstanding amounts cannot be re-used, reimbursed or refunded.
• When making a claim under the Double the Difference Voucher Guarantee, you cannot use a Double the Difference voucher issued after the 2nd June 2008 to pay for the Jetstar flight you book.
