Our special group fares make it easier to book if you’re travelling in a group of 10 or more passengers.

Travel agents can also make group bookings by following the same steps. Consider registering your organisation with us.

Group booking benefits 

You’ll get more flexibility and dedicated support to help manage your group’s travel plans. You’ll also get:

  • Flexible payment – Pay a deposit then pay the full balance anytime up to 45 days before your domestic, short-haul international or flight between Australia and New Zealand. Pay your full balance 60 days before your long-haul international flight.
  • Unlimited name changes at no additional cost
  • Standard seat selection
  • Waived booking and service fees
  • 20kg of checked-baggage per person, plus carry-on baggage as per our carry-on baggage limits
  • Share baggage allowance among passengers
  • Dedicated support – Assistance with your booking

Travel agent group bookings

If you’re a travel agent making a group booking, register your details with us and we’ll create an organisational code to use each time you make a group booking. That code will help us keep track of your revenue spend and keep you informed of any offers.

Include the following details in your email: 

  • Number of passengers
  • Departure and destination airports
  • Preferred departure and return date
  • Any in-flight meals you’d like
  • Your designated group leader details. The group leader will make payment for the booking and receive the booking itinerary
  • You Jetstar organisational code

Paying for your booking

Once we have received your enquiry our team will email a quote for your group booking. You will receive a response within two working days of your initial email.

If you’d like to go ahead with your booking, let us know and we will contact you to arrange payment. You’ll be able to pay by credit card or direct deposit. If your booking is with a travel agent, organise payment with them.

Once payment is complete the group leader will receive an itinerary.

When it’s time to travel, check in at the normal airport counter. Check in as a group or individually. If you’re travelling from Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1, check in at the group check-in counter.

What you get with group bookings

Group fares are not discounted however, with the added flexibility and extras, they’re often cheaper when you’re travelling in a group. Alternatively, you can book up to 50 passengers per booking on the Jetstar website. You won’t get the added extras if you book online.

There must be a minimum of 10 passengers travelling on at least one flight to qualify for a group fare.

We’ll do all we can to sit your group together but on some occasions we may ask you to change seats for operational reasons. 

You can choose to increase the baggage allowance. The allowance will be offered in 5kg increments up to 40kg per person. A discounted excess baggage rate will be offered as long as you let us know up to 48 hours before departure.
