To help us arrive at your destination on schedule, you must be checked-in for your flight on time. To make the process as simple and convenient as possible, we now offer a range of check-in options. For domestic flights, check-in before you arrive at the airport by using our web check-in or auto web check-in service, printing your boarding pass and bringing it to the airport. If you’d rather check-in at the airport, use our state-of-the-art kiosks and avoid the queues, or visit one of our Jetstar check-in counters.

Our friendly staff are always ready to assist you with the check-in process at one of our airport counters.
To help us get you to your destination on time we must get your flight
away on schedule. You must check-in, bag drop any checked
baggage and be at the boarding gate within the following time frames
before the scheduled departure:
Unfortunately, if you do not check-in within the required times you won’t be able to board the flight and you may lose your fare in full.
Travel documentation
All passengers travelling on flights within Asia operated by Jetstar Asia (3K), Valuair (VF) and Jetstar (JQ) must present their passport (with required validity period) for check-in at the airport. Remember that you must carry appropriate travel documentation and entry permits such as visas at all times. Some countries may require proof of onward or return travel. All children and infants travelling with an adult require their own passport, or should be registered in either of their parent’s passports.
Airport counter check-in
Check-in opens two hours before your scheduled departure for Jetstar Asia (3K) and Valuair (VF) flights and three hours before your scheduled departure for Jetstar (JQ) flights.
Checking-in at the airport on time helps us to get your flight away on schedule. Check-in closes strictly 40 minutes before the scheduled departure for Jetstar Asia (3K) and Valuair (VF) flights and strictly 60 minutes before your scheduled departure for Jetstar (JQ) flights.
Once checked-in, you’ll need to be at your boarding gate at least 15 minutes before your flight departure time for Jetstar Asia (3K) and Valuair (VF) flights and 40 minutes before your scheduled departure for Jetstar (JQ) flights. Please be aware that passing through immigration may take an extended period of time, which you will need to allow for to get to the gate on time.
