Jetstar’s comprehensive range of fare types, JetSaver, JetSaver Light, JetPlus and JetFlex are all about giving you choice. So you can decide how much you’d like to spend, what you’d like included in your fare and how much flexibility you think you’ll need to make changes to your booking. On selected flights, we also provide a range of flexibility and hold options that are aimed at providing you with a little extra piece of mind when booking your flights.

Our fares

JetSaver Light and JetSaver fares

JetSaver Light and JetSaver fares are our most affordable fare types.

JetSaver Light fares include no checked baggage allowance so they’re prefect for people who can travel lighter, for example on a weekend getaway or short business trip. If you would prefer to travel with checked baggage then you can choose a JetSaver fare and receive a 20kg checked baggage allowance.

Both these fares have limited change flexibility and are non-refundable so please read further information about JetSaver and JetSaver Light fares.

JetFlex

JetFlex fares suit customers who require more flexibility when travelling with Jetstar. This fare gives you the ability to receive a refund (minus a fee) and make changes to the origin and/or destination of travel. You will also receive a 20kg checked baggage allowance, as well as the ability to choose any available economy seat free of charge.

Frequent Flyer points and Status credits can also be earned with JetFlex fares, for flights operated by Jetstar Airways (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K) and Valuair (VF)*. See our Qantas Frequent Flyer Points page for full details.

JetPlus

JetPlus is a low-cost international fare offering comfort and convenience with a range of impressive inclusions.

Purchase a JetPlus fare on a long haul international flight and you will receive:

  • Two meals with one hot and one cold non-alcoholic beverage per meal (one meal on direct flights to/from Melbourne and Sydney to Bali)
  • A personal video on demand unit.
  • A comfort pack (including a blanket, inflatable neck pillow, eye shades and ear plugs).
  • 20kg checked baggage allowance.
  • The ability to make permitted changes for free (any fare difference is payable).

Standby, Mystery Flights and Compassionate fares

Jetstar offers all day, every day, low fares so ’Standby’ ’Mystery Flights’ or ’Compassionate’ fares are not offered.
