How does the Jetstar Cadet Pilot Program work with regard to financial assistance
|
Jetstar will provide you with sponsorship (AUD 21K) towards the training costs of the ACP, provided you stay with Jetstar for 6 years. In addition to this Jetstar will fund (up front) the remaining costs of the ACP program - this will be repaid to Jetstar by cadets over a period of 6 years whilst you are employed as a pilot operating for Jetstar.
Should you leave for any reason, you will need to immediately repay all outstanding amounts.
Following the completion of the ACP program, if you are offered employment to operate within the Jetstar group you may also be required to enter into a bond or other financial arrangement, depending on the jurisdiction in which you are employed. The amount represents the reasonable investment the Jetstar group will make in your development over the first 6 years as a pilot. Should you leave within 6 years of employment, you will be required to make payment in accordance with the bond or other applicable arrangement
