Mobile boarding passes are not available for flights from the United States.

If you’re booked on an Australia or New Zealand domestic flight, or on selected Jetstar Asia (3K) flights out of Singapore, you may be able to use a mobile boarding pass, instead of printing your boarding pass before you get to the airport.

Mobile boarding passes for Australia and New Zealand domestic flights

First, see if online check in is available to you, see: Can I check-in online? If online check in is available to you, then you may be able to use a mobile boarding pass.

When you check in online via your desktop or mobile, select the mobile boarding pass option and enter a mobile phone number.

  • You’ll be given the option to get a group mobile boarding pass for all passengers on the booking, or have individual boarding passes sent to each passenger.
  • The mobile boarding pass is an SMS you can scan at an airport kiosk or boarding gate. Don’t forget your phone!
  • At the airport, if you have carry-on baggage only, go straight to the boarding gate.

Some passengers will receive an SMS containing a link. Use this link to download your boarding pass to your smartphone’s wallet or passbook app.

Please note; this option requires a smartphone with an internet connection.

  • We recommend that you download your mobile boarding pass to your smartphone’s wallet app (or iPhone Passbook) before you get to the airport. Opening it on your smartphone’s browser will use data and require at least a 3G connection.
  • You should receive your mobile boarding pass within 30 minutes of checking in online. If you don’t receive it, please go to the Web check-in page to download and print a PDF boarding pass. If this isn’t possible, head to the airport to complete your check-in and collect your boarding pass. Be sure to allow enough time to check in at the airport before your flight departs.
  • We are unable to resend a mobile boarding pass. If you delete the SMS or are unable to access your mobile boarding pass, you’ll need to go to Web check-in page and download and print a PDF boarding pass, or get your boarding pass when you check in at the airport.

If you have checked baggage, scan your mobile boarding pass at the Jetstar kiosk, then select the passengers and baggage you want to check in. Print your boarding passes and bag tags, attach the tags to the correct bags and take the bags to the Jetstar bag drop. Then head to the boarding gate.

For the list of airports where kiosk check in is available see: Where can I check in through the airport kiosk?

If you’re departing from an airport that doesn’t have kiosk check-in you’ll need to scan your mobile boarding pass and take care of any checked baggage at the check-in desk.

If you’re booked on a domestic flight departing from an international terminal, you’ll have to go to the check-in counter to show your boarding pass and identification.

Make sure you arrive at the airport with plenty of time to catch your flight, see: When to get to the airport for domestic flights.
