Most of our Jetstar domestic flights into and out of Melbourne Tullamarine Airport now operate from Terminal 4.

Please note: domestic flights with a flight number between JQ1 and JQ70 operate from Terminal 2 (International).

Here's what you need to know so you can check in fast and experience the exciting new terminal!

Where is Terminal 4?

Terminal 4 is located at the opposite end of the airport building from Terminal 1, the existing Jetstar terminal.

What to expect at the terminal

The new Terminal 4 employs state-of-the-art technology to make your check-in experience smooth and easy.

If you've checked in online and printed your boarding pass, and you're travelling without checked baggage, you can go straight to the departure lounge. If you need to print a boarding pass, you can do so at a self-service kiosk.

If you have checked baggage, print your bag tags at a kiosk, then take your bags to a bag drop. Remember, bag drop closes 30 minutes before your flight departs.

Relax in the departure lounge. Keep your eye on the flight information screens – they'll tell you when it's time to go to your gate.

When your flight is ready to board, make your way to the gate – it's a 5-10 minute walk to get there.

And you're ready for take-off!

Access to the Qantas Club lounge

Eligible passengers can still access the Qantas Club lounge in Terminal 1 before flying Jetstar. But please note, there will be no boarding announcements or flight information screens at the lounge to alert you of any updates or changes to your flight.

If you wish to use the lounge, please ensure you check in, drop any bags and get to the gate in time for your flight. It's approximately a 15-minute walk between terminals 1 and 4, and check-in and bag drop close 30 minutes before departure.
