Flights on Hold must be purchased for all passengers and all sectors on the booking and can only be purchased online or through the call centre at the time of initial booking. The Flights on hold Fee will be charged per person, per sector, and is non-refundable. Any applicable credit card payment fees (dependent on method of payment) will be charged at the time of placing the flight on hold and are likewise non-refundable. Payment can be completed via the Jetstar website under “My bookings” or through the call centre. On receipt a valid Jetstar Travel Itinerary will be sent. Only bookings that are paid in full constitute a valid Jetstar booking and allow for travel on Jetstar flights.
Price Flexibility
Price Flexibility must be purchased for all passengers and all sectors on the booking and can only be purchased at the time of initial booking. The Price Flexibility fee is non refundable. You must claim online. A separate online claim is required for each flight. Only the first claim which meets the conditions for payment will be honoured for each sector. Claims must contain your booking reference number, original flight number and flight date, along with your name and email address. The claim will be processed within 24 hours, with a refund only offered on successful validation of the lower fare. Unsuccessful claimants are able to resubmit their claim at any time. All successful claims require a fare to be available at a lower price on the Jetstar website (www.jetstar.com) with the same flight, date, and product type as per your current booking. Any special sale conditions must also be met (such as travel in pairs). In the event of a successful claim, all valid passengers in the booking on the flights indicated on the online claim form will be paid. One payment will be made to lead (first) passenger on the booking. Passengers cannot claim independently. Any ancillary items purchased will remain on the booking and will not be refunded. Original form of payment will be used for all refunds. For POLi payments and credit cards that are not valid, we will need to contact you using the contact name provided in the booking to obtain further details. For Voucher payments (part or full) a new Voucher will be issued (valid for 3 months, travel within 12 months) to the contact name in the booking.

Any ancillary items purchased on the original booking will be retained. You must claim via the Jetstar Call Centre. Travel in each direction can be changed independently. Only one change is allowed per sector by each passenger. Subsequent changes are allowed but normal change fees will apply. Passengers may claim independently of each other. Each passenger can make only one change per sector without incurring a change fee.
