Getting There

Renting a car to drive around bustling Bangkok is not a good idea. The city has thousands of great-value taxis, most of which are new and air-conditioned, with working seat belts in front (if not always in back). Motorcycle taxis can beat the traffic but are not for the faint of heart. Bangkok’s public buses are a cheap (if not always comfortable) way to get around the city.
