Townsville’s airport is 5km northwest of the city in Garbutt. Abacus Charters & Tours (1300 554 378) does airport-to-Townsville runs while Sunbus (www.sunbus.com.au) scoots around town; pick up info from Breakwater Terminal. Taxis (13 10 08, 07 4778 9500) congregate outside the Cowboy Leagues Club and the Breakwater Terminal.
