Thing To Do & See

Shawarma Snack Center

At Shawarma Snack Center they have scrumptious Middle Eastern snacks and meals ranging from falafel to grilled goat meat. You can sit and watch the world go by while smoking a flavoured tobacco water-pipe.

Sala

Possibly Manila’s finest restaurant (with the prices to match), this refined European bistro defected from Malate in 2007. Its A-level service and ever-changing selection of fusion dishes and creative desserts haven’t missed a beat. If you can’t get a rezzie here try nearby Sala Bistro, next to People’s Palace in Greenbelt 3.

Ziggurat

Half open-air restaurant, half pillow-covered bazaar, Ziggurat takes its inspirations from India, the Middle East and Africa. Outside you can enjoy a hookah in a setting that manages to slightly evoke a desert tent somewhere. The menu is long and includes kebabs, chutneys, curries and Moroccan tajines.
