When you’re shopping online for flights, if you find a Jetstar flight on an eligible third party website or a flight with another airline that’s cheaper than you can get on Jetstar.com – we’ll beat it by 10%. We’d rather you booked and flew with us!

How to claim your 10% discount with our Price Beat Guarantee

  • Review the Jetstar Price Beat Guarantee for eligibility criteria.
  • Hit the ‘Apply now’ button and fill in all your details.
  • We’ll verify the comparison. If your request is eligible, you’ll need to pay for your discounted Jetstar flight straight away.
  • If you’re in Japan, we’ll send your difference and 10% reduction as a voucher, which you can use now or on a future booking.
  • We’ll send you an itinerary within 72 hours.

    Terms and conditions

    We'll beat all prices that meet our criteria!

    Competitor flights must be:

    • on another airline
    • cheaper than the lowest available Jetstar Comparable Fare (defined below) on Jetstar.com on the same route – the airports of origin and destination must be identical
    • direct and one-way
    • not be a membership or frequent flyer fare. It must also not be free of cost.
    • currently available to the general public, in the same currency and offered online
    • offered on a website in English, or Japanese for Jetstar Japan. For Jetstar Pacific, the website can be in English or Vietnamese. For Jetstar Asia, the website can be in English or Chinese.
    • cheaper with all the additional mandatory fees, surcharges and taxes included, excluding non-mandatory fees such as credit card fees.
    • leaving later than 7 days from when you applied for the discount.

    The Jetstar comparable fare must be:

    • an Economy Starter fare, direct and one-way. We won’t price beat our other fares - Economy Starter Plus, Economy Starter Max, Business Class and Business Class Max fares.
    • a Jetstar (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K), Jetstar Japan (GK) or Jetstar Pacific (BL) flight. Qantas (QF) codeshare flights do not apply. Comparisons cannot be made between Jetstar airlines.
    • leaving at a comparable time to the competitor flight. Both flights must leave:
      • within one hour of each other if they're domestic or flights between Australia and New Zealand
      • within one hour of each other if they’re international flights within Asia
      • within the same calendar day if they’re international flights (excluding flights within Asia and flights between Australia and New Zealand).

    The Jetstar flight offered on an eligible third party website must be:

    • currently available to the general public and visible online
    • exactly the same flight on both jetstar.com and the eligible third party website, inclusive of all mandatory fees, surcharges and taxes, and excluding non-mandatory fees such as credit card fees
    • for the same number and type of travellers (adults and children).
    • same date and time of travel
    • same Jetstar flight number
    • an Economy Starter Fare, direct and one-way. We won’t price beat our other fares: Economy Starter Plus, Economy Starter Max, Business Class and Business Class Max fares.
    • not be a membership or frequent flyer fare. It must also not be free of cost
    • offered on a website in English, or Japanese for Jetstar Japan. For Jetstar Pacific, the website can be in English or Vietnamese. For Jetstar Asia, the website can be in English or Chinese.
    • leaving later than 7 days from when you applied for the discount.
    • taken directly through the third party website and must not re-direct to another site.

    Your claim is ineligible if:

    • prices quoted on websites do not take online bookings and payments but direct you to the site for transaction
    • the flight is not available to the general public
    • prices are lower as a result of an error by the third party website
    • Jetstar is unable to reasonably verify price
    • price is lower due to fares not including mandatory fees, surcharges and taxes.

    Fair Use Policy

    We’re committed to making sure our passengers can make the most of our Price Beat Guarantee, so we’ve introduced a Fair Use Policy to ensure that none of our passengers are disadvantaged when others use it unreasonably.

    It’s intended to avoid exploitation of the Price Beat Guarantee for commercial purposes, and to ensure that it isn’t used in an excessive or unfair way. That way, all of our passengers can continue to benefit from it.

    We will offer the Price Beat Guarantee on new flight bookings only up to a maximum of 10 passengers per booking.

    We may decline to make a Price Beat Guarantee booking under the Fair Use Policy if we consider usage of the Price Beat Guarantee to be unreasonable.

    Unreasonable use

    Some examples of unreasonable use include, but are not limited to:

    • commercially exploiting the Price Beat Guarantee by reselling fares without passing on the savings to the passenger, and
    • using the Price Beat Guarantee to make duplicate bookings.

    If we believe your use of the Price Beat Guarantee is unreasonable or excessive, we may limit or reject your future Price Beat Guarantee claims.
