Before you travel, you'll need to know what’s required by each state and territory, so you can be ready to fly.
Please keep in mind:
- Exit and entry requirements can differ for each state or territory.
- These requirements may include proof of vaccination, digital entry forms, COVID-19 testing and mandatory use of state-specific check in mobile apps.
- Travel requirements can change at short notice. You'll need to check government sites before you book and before you fly, for both directions of travel.
You can get an overview of the government requirements for your domestic flight using an interactive map.

Checking in for your flight
You can reduce contact and save time at the airport by checking in online. If you're unable to check in online, please arrive at the airport early and allow extra time for check in. Learn more about when you need to arrive at the airport for your domestic flight.
What to bring to the airport
You'll need to bring any relevant travel documents required for your destination, such as entry forms, COVID-19 test results and proof of vaccination. If contact tracing apps are required, have these downloaded on your phone prior to arriving at the airport.
Don't forget your mask
Masks must be worn at the airport and for the duration of your flight.
