The wireless signal your device receives is restricted to your aircraft, so it doesn’t give you access to the internet or social media. You won’t be able to make calls or send SMS messages either - but with so much entertainment at your fingertips, you won’t mind!
No. You’ll find Jetstar Entertainment+ on Jetstar Airways (JQ) flights where you’re flying on an A320 or A321LR NEO aircraft (subject to availability).
No. Your preferred device, which you connect and pay for any entertainment plan with, is the only device you can use to stream Jetstar Entertainment+ during your flight.
No. Jetstar Entertainment+ is currently only available for purchase on board.

Jetstar Entertainment+ includes a flight map so you can track your flight, plus a range of other free content such as games, Jetstar TV and destination guides.
The on-board Wi-Fi available is a captive wireless network for enjoying streamed content on your devices. It doesn’t provide access to the internet.
Jetstar Entertainment+ is not included in any fare types or bundles. You can purchase access plans on board with a valid credit card.
Jetstar Entertainment+ generally functions well, but if you encounter a problem, these steps should help.
If you’re unable to connect:
In some cases, you may be eligible for a refund.
When you’re connected to Jetstar Entertainment+ on the ground, your connection may be severed due to aircraft power change resetting the system. Please wait 5 minutes for the system to reboot, then follow the steps again to connect. This may include switching Wi-Fi and/or devices on and off again and access to paid content will not be lost, it will simply restore.
Private or Incognito browsing can block certain cookies or session data required for the entertainment portal to function. You’ll need to close any private browsing tabs and use a standard browser window to access the system.
To turn off Private browsing in Safari:

Once all Incognito tabs are closed, you’ll return to regular browsing mode.
Yes, please turn off your VPN before connecting. VPNs – whether built-in or third party – can interfere with the aircraft’s local network and prevent access to Jetstar Entertainment+ portal.
To disable it:
Apple users
• Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > VPN
• Toggle the switch next to the active VPN to Off.
If the VPN reconnects automatically, tap the ‘i’ icon next to the VPN name and turn off ‘Connect On Demand’.
Android users
If you're using a third-party VPN app, open the app and look for a Disconnect or Power button on the main screen.
For Apple users, iCloud Private relay is on by default. iCloud Private Relay hides your IP address and encrypts your browsing activity, which can block access to Jetstar Entertainment+ portal.
To disable it:
• Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Private Relay
• Toggle Private Relay off before connecting to the aircraft Wi-Fi.
In the rare event that you wish to claim a refund for your Jetstar Entertainment+ purchase, you can apply for it on the in-flight Jetstar Entertainment+ system via the ‘Help tab’. Alernatively, please email us at customerservices@blueboxaviation.com with the following information:
your contact email address
the date of your flight and flight number
the last four digits of the card used to make the purchase
your reason for wishing to claim a refund.
All valid refunds will be paid to the card you used to purchase Jetstar Entertainment+ within 14 days.
