More than just a wine lover’s paradise
South Australia is a mix of dreamy summers, outstanding wines, food festivals and beautiful beaches. The region is home to the famed Barossa Valley, Kangaroo Island and Flinders Ranges.
This southern central Australian state borders all the other mainland states: Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. The majority of South Australians live in the capital of Adelaide, with most of the remainder living along the south-eastern coast and River Murray.
This state is rich in culture; a melting pot of experiences awaits. Visit Coopers Brewery, take the Popeye boat through the heart of Adelaide, attend an Adelaide event. The Santos Tour Down Under happens in January, the Adelaide Fringe festival, WOMADelaide and Clipsal 500 V8 supercar race all take place in March.
