- Refundable for a Refund Fee per passenger, per booking if your original booking was a Business Class fare with Max bundle (see Fees and charges ). The Refund Fee listed on the Fees and Charges page at the time of booking will apply.
- Refunds must be requested before the end of the day of your original scheduled departure. Your fare is non-refundable if you request a refund after the end of the day of the scheduled departure, except in certain circumstances including under your local law or [navi:TermsAndConditions-99750).
- If your original fare did not include the option to cancel your flight, and you change to a Business Class fare with Max bundle, a credit voucher refund will not be available, unless you are entitled to a remedy under your local law or Conditions of Carriage, or you added FareCredit to your original booking.
- If you change to Business Class fare with Max bundle from fare or fare with bundle that includes a voucher refund, you will be eligible for a voucher refund.
- If you have purchased a FareCredit the relevant terms and conditions apply and are available on Jetstar.com at the time of purchase.
- For Business Class fares with Max bundle bookings made after 4 June 2024 - add-ons (excluding accommodation, activities, insurance, car hire, airport parking, airport transfers, Club Jetstar membership, booking and service change or payment fees, carbon offset, StarTrees, or StarKids donations) can only be refunded when requested as part of a refund of the applicable flight.
- For Business Class fares with Max bundle bookings made before 4 June 2024 add ons (excluding hotels, activities, insurance and car hire) can only be refunded when requested as part of a refund of the applicable flight.
- Ticketless bookings made via the GDS (Global Distribution System) will receive refunds for cancellations at a Refund Fee per passenger, per booking, and must be requested through Jetstar. The Refund Fee listed on the Fees and Charges page at the time of booking will apply.
- GDS bookings issued on an airline partner ticket or Hahn Air ticket need to be referred to the issuing travel agent or partner airline to process the refund. For Hahn Air tickets, the issuing travel agent can request a refund via BSP link.
- For Business Class fares with Max bundle bookings made after 4 June 2024 with a travel agent where add-ons (excluding accommodation, activities, insurance, car hire, airport parking, airport transfers, Club Jetstar membership, booking and service or payment fees, carbon offset, StarTrees or StarKids donations) are purchased directly with Jetstar, refund requests for those add-ons should be made directly with Jetstar after the refund is requested for the flight booking via the travel agent.
- For Business Class fares with Max bundle bookings made before 4 June 2024 with a travel agent where add-ons (excluding hotels, activities, insurance and car hire) are purchased directly with Jetstar, refund requests for those add-ons should be made directly with Jetstar after the refund is requested for the flight booking via the travel agent.
- For cancellations of Points Plus Pay – Flights bookings made under Business class fare with Max bundle fare rules, the refundable portion of Qantas Points will be re-credited to the Member’s account and the refundable portion of any money payments will be refunded to the original form of payment used, less the Refund Fee. The Refund Fee listed on the Fees and Charges page at the time of booking will apply.
- Other Jetstar terms and conditions or the terms and conditions of the third-party service provider will apply and you should check these carefully before making your purchase. The details of the other Jetstar terms and conditions or the terms and conditions of the third party are provided on Jetstar.com at the time of booking.
- You may be entitled to a refund, an alternative flight or remedy under your local law or our Conditions of Carriage, in which case no fees apply.
Missed check-in deadline or failure to board within the required time
- Permitted changes or refund can be made if requested before the end of the day of your original scheduled departure and upon payment of any applicable Fare Difference.
Origin/Destination changes
- Permitted upon payment of the applicable Fare Difference within the Change Deadline. You must contact the Contact Centre or the Jetstar Service Desk at the airport to make origin or destination changes.
- Permitted changes must be made before the end of the day of your scheduled flight departure. Changes can be made:
- at Jetstar.com or Jetstar App before the original scheduled flight opens for check-in at the airport if originally the booking was made via Jetstar.com, the Jetstar App or Jetstar Contact Centre.
- at the Contact Centre or at the Jetstar Service Desk at the airport up to the end of the day of your scheduled flight departure, and additional services fees may apply.
- Airport check in opening times are available on your Jetstar itinerary and on Jetstar.com.
- Time and Date changes can be made via Jetstar.com or the Jetstar App if original booking was made via Jetstar.com, the Jetstar App or Jetstar Call Centre.
- All changes can be made via Jetstar Contact Centre or Jetstar Service Desk at the airport and additional booking fees (see Fees and charges) apply if the booking was not originally made via the Jetstar Contact Centre or Jetstar Service Desk at the airport. Booking fees apply at the rate published on the day of change (except change fees). Booking fees are subject to change and Jetstar will give at least one month's notice of a change by updating the Fees and charges webpage. Additional booking fees can be avoided by making changes through Jetstar.com or on the Jetstar App.
Permitted fare/bundle changes
- Subject to payment of Fare Difference, Business Class fares with Max bundle can be changed to an available Business Class fare with Business Class bundle.
- Club Jetstar member exclusive fare Business Class fares with Max bundle bookings can be changed to an available member or non-member Business Class fare with Business Class bundle.
- If your fare or fare with bundle is part of a Return for Free, Fly a Friend for Free, or other promotional free flight, and you are eligible for, and choose to cancel the paid flight on your booking for an original form of payment refund, then you will no longer be eligible for the free flight, and the free flight will also be cancelled. The value of any bundle or in-flight extras, such as baggage, added to the free flight on your booking will be included in the original form of payment refund.
- A Business Class fares with Max Bundle cannot be changed to a Business Class fare or Starter fare.
Qantas Frequent Flyer Classic Upgrade Rewards
- Business Class fare with Max bundle is not eligible for Classic Upgrade Rewards.

Qantas Frequent Flyer Points Plus Pay - Flights on Jetstar - Additional Payments
- All changes or additions to your booking must be paid with money and cannot be redeemed with Qantas Points.
- Changes or additions will be calculated by using the original monetary value and currency of the fare (as determined by Jetstar) and as per the conditions listed in the Change Fee and Fare Difference section of these fare rules.
