Head over to Bise Fukugi Tree Lane, one of the popular wedding photo venues, enjoy a leisurely stroll around the village and experience the romantic vibes.

Sweeten your afternoon at the Nago Pinepple Park, get into a cute sightseeing cart and explore the pineapple ‘jungle’.


Day 3

Let yourself lose at PARCO City at Urasoe, Okinawa's latest and largest shopping mall. Enjoy a leisurely meal at the food court with the best view – seaview.

Drop by Shurijo Castle Park for some history and amazing views of Naha. Shuri Castle, the palace of the Ryukyu Kingdom, has been fully restored.

Join the queue for at Pork Tamago Onigiri Honten for a much sought-after spam onigiri, followed by a coffee session at Tamagusuku Coffee Roasters.


Day 2

Drive north to Busena Marine Park, and check out Okinawa’s only underwater observatory tower, or take a ride in the glass-bottom boat to enjoy the pristine blue waters.

Stop by Cape Manzamo and take a selfie with the elephant- trunk looking rock formation.

Explore Ryukyu Mura, where you can don traditional Ryukyuan costume, and immerse yourself in this traditional village, with cultural performances and workshops.


Day 3

Get into the water and snorkel or dive with a whale shark! From Chatan or Yomitan, tour companies can pick you up for a half day exhilarating trip out to the sea, for an up close and personal encounter with a 4m long whale shark.

Spend the rest of the day at the American Village, where you can get a cuppa, shop for quirky items and lose yourself in the arcades.


Day 4

Reward yourself with the best views of the island, by paragliding over Cape Chinen.

Drop by neighbouring Sefa Utaki, an important sacred site of the indigenous Okinawan religion.

Time for some serious shopping at the Okinawa Outlet Mall Ashibinaa.

End the trip with sunset viewing at Umikaji Terrace Senagajima, while dining at one of the 40 F&B outlets.

Purchase really fresh seafood from the market, and head to the second floor of the market and have one of the food stalls prepare them in any way you want.

Get on the monorail and head to Shuri Castle, the palace of the Ryuku Kingdom. Shurijo Castle Park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Day 2

Take a day trip to Tokashiki Island where you can spend the day soaking up the sun, sand and sea.

Relax as you lounge on white sandy beaches, or snorkel in crystal clear blue waters - you might even spot a sea turtle!


Day 3 and 4

Rent a car and head to the northernmost point on Okinawa island – Cape Hedo, where a monument commemorating the end of US occupation stands.

Grab a healthy lunch at Eminomise, a popular restaurant in Ogimi village, famous for its Longevity Meal.

Visit Kouri Island/Tower - remember to stop for photos before driving across the bridge - where you can take your pick from one of the many cafes overlooking the ocean.

Still on the island, head to the northern point to get a glimpse of the famous ‘Heart Rock’.

Craving for really fresh uni or sea urchin? Then stop at the friendly Shirasa Shokudo for a bowl of out-of-this-world uni don.

It’s an afternoon of nature exploration at Okinawa World, where you can visit the cooling Gyokusendo Cave, Okinawa's largest limestone cave home to spectacular rock formations. At Valley of Gangala, marvel at the primitive forest that once used to be limestone caves!

Head back to Naha for a nice meal at one of the many restaurants serving Okinawa cuisine and folk songs.


Day 6 – Mata ne Okinawa! Fly back to Singapore on 3K792.
