When it's not peak tourist season, negotiate a return journey price as there may not be taxis waiting near this beach when you are ready to leave. In front of the Baan Koh Adang School, you'll find a small shack where longtail- boat operators wait for customers. You can request a half-day private snorkelling tour, and your boatman will know the best places. 6. Castaway Beach Resort

Laze away the days in a hammock on the deck of your breezy two-storey bungalow at Castaway. There's an in-house dive centre so underwater enthusiasts will be in their element.
