What’s my carry-on baggage allowance?
Your carry-on allowance depends on the type of fare you've purchased. If you have a Starter fare, your carry-on allowance is 2 items with a combined weight of 7kg. For information on our bundle carry-on inclusions, see Carry-on baggage – what can I bring on board?.
Increasing your allowance
With 14kg you can bring 2 items: one main item (max 10kg) and one small item. To get a carry-on allowance of 14kg, purchase one of the following:*
- +7kg Extra Carry-On Baggage when you book or in Manage booking
- A fare or bundle with 14kg of carry-on baggage included
*Selected routes only. Subject to availability. For bookings made through a Travel Agent or another airline, please check Manage booking for your baggage allowance or contact them for assistance as you may have different inclusions in your fare or bundle type.
Things to know
Avoid fees at the airport
Our weight and item limits adhere to safety requirements and our cabins' limited capacity. Carry-on allowances also help streamline the boarding process so you can get to your destination sooner.
We monitor baggage at the airport and excess baggage fees apply if you exceed your allowance. Your baggage may also need to be transferred to the hold and checked in.
Purchase 7kg of extra carry-on baggage
Pack a little more by increasing your carry-on allowance to 14kg. You can bring 2 items: a main item weighing a max of 10kg and a small item. Limited availability.
Restricted items

Important information
Family and infants
While infants under two travelling on your lap do not have their own carry-on baggage allowance, there are some additional checked baggage allowances.
Medications
Essential medication must be labelled with identifying information. Airport staff may request proof of medical need. Hypodermic needles must be declared.
Assistive devices
Assistive devices don't count towards your carry-on baggage allowance and are weighed separately. Only certain assistive devices can be carried in the aircraft cabin.
