How to board and disembark your flight

This article provides information on boarding and disembarking an aircraft for Jetstar flights in Australia and New Zealand. Note. This process may differ at times due to operational requirements. Important: If you are unable to use the aircraft stairs you must notify us when you book as the Passenger Assistive Device (mechanical high lift) has limited availability for each flight. Some airports may require you to board or disembark via an aerobridge (an enclosed bridge that connects the airport terminal with the aircraft) or a combination of aerobridge and tarmac and stairs. See below for examples of an aerobridge from inside and outside:
