Carry-on baggage – what can I bring on board?

Your carry-on allowance depends on the type of fare or bundle you’ve booked:
  • Economy fares and bundles: include 7kg or 14kg.
If you’ve got 7kg, you can up it to 14kg by adding +7kg Extra Carry-On Baggage
  • Business fares and bundles: include 14kg.
Heads up! Even if you’ve got 14kg, no single item can weigh over 10kg. You can see how much carry-on you can take in the Fare rules. If you’ve got an existing booking, you can also check out your itinerary or go to Manage booking.

Number of carry-on items allowed

Your weight allowance can be shared across 2 items: 1x main item:
  • Needs to fit in the overhead lockers
  • Can measure up to 56 x 36 x 23cm (including wheels and handles)
1x small item:
  • Needs to fit under the seat in front of you
  • Should be carried outside of your main item
  • Includes items like a purse or handbag, laptop or thin case, coat or blanket, umbrella, camera, approved duty-free goods or infant food and other baby items

Don’t pay fees at the airport

We monitor carry-on baggage at the airport. Fees apply if you exceed your allowance and extra items may also need to be checked in. If you think you're likely to go over your allowance, it's cheaper to purchase extra baggage online before you getting to the airport. You can do this when you book or below by clicking add baggage.
