These are our payment options for payments made in Australian Dollars (AUD). For payment in other currencies, different payment options are available.
Credit card, debit card or charge card
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and UATP cards, including credit cards, debit cards and charge cards. A Booking and Service Fee will apply.
Australian residents can pay with a Jetstar MasterCard or Jetstar Platinum MasterCard and avoid the Booking and Service Fee. Go to the Fees and charges page for further information.
On selected routes, it is a condition of sale, check-in and boarding that the original, physical credit/debit card used to purchase the ticket(s) must be presented by the credit/debit card owner for verification at the airport. Where you book travel on these selected routes, you'll be informed of the need for verification during the booking flow. Prior to check-in, the credit/debit card owner must take the credit/debit card used to purchase the tickets together with his/her government issued identification (such as a passport, identity card or driver’s license) to the Jetstar check-in counter. This requirement applies irrespective of whether the credit/debit card owner is or is not a part of the travelling party. If the credit/debit card is not verified as required, the passengers whose tickets were purchased with that credit/debit card may be denied check-in and boarding at Jetstar’s sole discretion. One verification is required for each return journey.
Vouchers issued by Jetstar can be used for part or full payment of your fare. Please note that vouchers can only be used once and any unused portion of the value of a voucher will be forfeited. No Booking and Service Fee applies.
If there is a balance remaining to be paid, you must pay this balance with another voucher, by credit/debit card or via POLi Payments on Jetstar.com. No Booking and Service Fee will apply if you choose to pay the balance with another voucher, a Jetstar MasterCard or with POLi on Jetstar.com.
Jetstar voucher payments cannot be mixed with POLi on the Jetstar mobile site or apps. A Booking and Service Fee will apply if you choose to pay the balance by another card (on Jetstar.com or the mobile site).
If you choose to pay with PayPal, you'll be redirected away from the Jetstar website and Jetstar mobile website.

When you pay via direct debit using POLi from eligible Australian banks, your payment details will be automatically entered into the relevant fields once you log into your online banking account. No Booking and Service Fee applies for POLi payments on Jetstar.com, Jetstar mobile website or apps.
We accept direct deposits from eligible Australian banks, in Australian Dollars.
Direct deposits are only available for bookings made at least 14 days prior to your departure date. If you wish to book a flight departing within the next 14 days, you'll need to choose a different payment option. No Booking and Service Fee applies for direct deposit payments on Jetstar.com, Jetstar mobile website or apps.
