Is my device compatible?

Jetstar Entertainment is compatible across most devices, but to double-check whether it will work on yours, please consult the information below.

Can I access the internet and/or social media with Jetstar Entertainment+?

The wireless signal your device receives is restricted to your aircraft, so it doesn’t give you access to the internet or social media. You won’t be able to make calls or send SMS messages either - but with so much entertainment at your fingertips, you won’t mind!

Do all Jetstar flights have Jetstar Entertainment+?

No. You’ll find Jetstar Entertainment+ on Jetstar Airways (JQ) flights where you’re flying on an A320 or A321LR NEO aircraft (subject to availability).

Once I'm connected to Jetstar Entertainment+, can I switch the device I'm using?

No. Your preferred device, which you connect and pay for any entertainment plan with, is the only device you can use to stream Jetstar Entertainment+ during your flight.

Can I pre-purchase Jetstar Entertainment+?

Not yet. Jetstar Entertainment+ is currently only available for purchase on board.

What if it doesn’t work?

Jetstar Entertainment generally functions well, but if you encounter a problem, these steps should help.
If you’re unable to connect:

  1. Switch your Wi-Fi off and on
  2. Turn your device off and on, and repeat step 1
  3. If the problem continues, please check your browser is compatible. Otherwise, please ask a member of the cabin crew for assistance.
