Use Qantas Points

Booking on jetstar.com Australia and New Zealand

You can put your Qantas Points towards flights and add-ons using Points Plus Pay – Flights3 when you book through our Australian or New Zealand websites. A minimum of 3500 points is required.

Points Plus Pay – Flights can be used on any Jetstar flight originating in Australia or New Zealand, where the ticket price is listed in Australian or New Zealand dollars and seats are available.

Redeem your entire booking using Qantas Points, or use a combination of Qantas Points and another payment method. Any part of your jetstar.com booking redeemed in points will be payment fee free.

You can use your Qantas Points on qantas.com to book Classic Flight Reward seats on Jetstar Airways (JQ), Jetstar Japan (GK) or Jetstar Asia (3K) flights, starting from 6400 points plus taxes, fees and carrier charges4.

Earn Qantas Points

Include your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number when you book eligible Jetstar fares and your Qantas Points and Status Credits will be credited to your account within 6 weeks of travel.

If you forget to provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer number at time of booking, you can contact us to add it before your flight departs.

Claim missing points

If you’ve already travelled and your Qantas Frequent Flyer number wasn’t attached to your booking, you can claim your missing points in your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. Keep your boarding pass handy to enter your flight details!

You'll earn at least 800 Qantas Points with the Minimum Points Guarantee on eligible Jetstar fares. On Jetstar New Zealand domestic, you’ll earn a minimum of 400 Qantas Points.
