Frequently Asked Questions

How do I change my booking?

If your original booking was made directly with us on our website or over the phone, you can make limited changes up until check-in opens for your flight at Manage booking. You’ll just need your booking reference number and the email address in your booking. There you can also add baggage, in-flight meals and entertainment.

If you've booked with a Travel Agent, please get back in touch with them to make changes to your booking.

Can I check in online?

Online check-in is contactless and the best way to get you through the airport faster. It’s simple, quick and available for almost all Jetstar flights.

To check in online, you'll need your booking reference (it’s on your itinerary) and the email address or surname used for the booking. If you’re on an international flight, you’ll also need your passport details.

What items can I bring on board?

There are limits to how much carry-on baggage you can bring on board and restrictions on what you can take. Be sure to check what you can bring on board ahead of time to avoid any delays or additional fees at the airport.

If you're on an international flight, also check your limits on liquids, aerosols, gels, and powders.

What do I need to know about travelling with an infant?

At Jetstar, passengers under the age of 2 are referred to as infants. If you’ve booked online, one infant can be included in the booking for each adult. If you’re travelling with more than one infant, you will need to get our help to make the booking. For more information, visit our Travelling with an infant page.

Can I travel alone if I’m under 18?

Please note that we don't offer an unaccompanied minor service. To travel alone as a young passenger, you must meet both our Young passengers travelling alone and requirements.
