Fees and charges

This fee applies for all Business Max bookings and for Starter Max^ bundles booked through a partner airline or some travel agents. Contact your travel agent for more information. For details, see Fare rules. Applies per passenger per booking. Does not apply to any circumstances other than those listed above. ^ Starter Max bundles are no longer available to purchase directly with Jetstar from 4 June 2024.

Some fare types are non-refundable or only partially refundable, subject to our Conditions of Carriage or applicable law. However, if you choose not to travel, contact us to request a refund of certain third-party charges and Government taxes that may be included in your fare: excluding fuel and insurance surcharges. If you request a refund of these third-party charges and taxes, the following administration fee applies, unless otherwise exempted by applicable law. If this administration fee exceeds the amount of the available refund, no refund will be paid and you will not be charged an administration fee. Applies per passenger, per booking (variation apply*). *Fee Variation: • The applicable administration fee per passenger, per booking for Jetstar Asia (3K) flights from Malaysia shall be RM2.20. Fee applies per, passenger per flight when you change the date or the time of your flights at Manage booking, by phone or online chat at jetstar.com, in person at a GSA, or at the airport service desk* This fee also applies when you make name changes to your booking through the Contact Centre by phone or online chat. From 14 November 2024, the change fee amount will vary based on how far in advance of the original flight departure you make the change. If you make changes to your booking:

• From 30 days (inclusive of day 30) until the day of your original scheduled flight departure: you will be charged a higher fee
• More than 30 days in advance of your original flight departing: You will be charged a lower fee

*Additional airport service desk charges: Phuket (HKT) THB ฿250, Singapore (SIN) SGD $20.

Applies per passenger per flight. Please refer to the relevant table below for the change fee that applies to your booking. ^ For bookings made before 17 October 2023 fee is NZD $55 ^# For bookings made before 17 October 2023 fee is AUD $80 / NZD $80 / FJD $125 / KRW ₩68,600

Applies per passenger, per flight when you make a new booking through phone or online chat. If your original booking was made via jetstar.com, this fee also applies when you change the date or time of your flights, or your fare type through phone or online chat. In addition to this fee, you’ll also be charged the Jetstar Contact Centre change fee listed above. Changes are always cheapest to make at Manage booking.

Applies per passenger, per item, when you add baggage, seats, comfort packs, or in-flight entertainment to your booking through phone or online chat. You can avoid this fee by purchasing what you need when you make your own booking at jetstar.com, or after you book at Manage Booking. It’s cheapest to purchase checked baggage online when you book your flight.

For new bookings made at the airport service desk – fee applies per passenger, per flight*.
For new bookings made at the Jetstar Travel Shop – fee applies per passenger, per booking. The Jetstar Travel Shop booking fee applies to bookings made at Jetstar branded Jetstar Travel Shop stores in Haikou. *Additional airport service desk charges for new bookings: Phuket (HKT) THB ฿450, Singapore (SIN) SGD $30
Additional airport service desk charges for purchasing seats, meals, baggage: Phuket (HKT) THB ฿200

Jetstar provides wheelchair and mobility assistance to passengers who require it. Wheelchair fees will apply for wheelchair requests (which are subject to availability), for international flights with Jetstar Asia (3K) from 28 March 2018. Fee applies per passenger per flight (exemptions apply*). *Fee Exemptions:

• 3K Passengers travelling with their own wheelchair
• Passengers on Jetstar Asia (3K) flights to/from Darwin and the Philippines.
• Passengers on Jetstar Asia (3K) flights from Malaysia presenting a valid OKU card during check in
• Codeshare and interline passengers
• Connecting flights between Jetstar Airways (JQ) and Jetstar Asia (3K); Jetstar Japan (GK) and Jetstar Asia (3K)
• Flights operated by Jetstar Airways (JQ) and Jetstar Japan (GK)
• Multi-city flights involving exempted flights and Jetstar Asia (3K) flights in the journey
