Bundles
Many bundles include a meal (or a voucher for something from the on-board menu), and you can choose to have this during the first or second meal service. You can also pre-purchase an additional meal if you think you might get peckish. Check your itinerary to see what aircraft you’re travelling on, then check the menus below to see what’s available.
Can I bring my own food and drinks on board?
You’re welcome to bring your own food and some drinks on board. For safety reasons, we do not allow passengers to board with hot drinks (eg. coffee or tea) or bring their own alcohol for consumption during the flight.
In-flight payments
On-board payment options vary depending on your Jetstar flight. Refer to Jetstar menus above for full payment details.
Jetstar Airways (JQ) international and domestic flights: Cards Pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Visa debit or Mastercard debit card. We don’t apply a service fee to purchases made by card. We may request photo identification upon credit card purchase, and a limit of AUD $100 per transaction applies. We are not able to accept EFTPOS payments, Maestro debit cards or pre-paid travel cards. Cash is not accepted on board JQ flights. Card charges on flights which operate solely within New Zealand will be in NZD. All other flights will be charged in AUD. Prices on Australia and New Zealand domestic flights are inclusive of GST. No GST applies to purchases on international flights.
Jetstar Asia (3K) international flights: cash, Visa and Mastercard accepted.
Jetstar Japan (GK) domestic international flights: Japanese Yen, Visa and Mastercard accepted.
Photo ID is required for all credit card transactions.
Food and drink offered on board is subject to availability. Current prices and products are listed on the Jetstar on-board menus. The product range may differ between flights, depending on flight length and time of departure.
Only alcoholic drinks provided by cabin crew can be consumed on board.
