Family favourite Glenelg Beach.
Spend the day in the sun at Adelaide's easily accessible city beaches (plus a few beauties slightly further out). They're known for their calm, clear waters, soft sand and incredible sunsets. A short tram ride from the CBD, picturesque Glenelg is a family favourite close to cafés and shops. To the north, Semaphore Beach is all about relaxation, with a rolling lawn foreshore and old-school amusement-park rides on weekends and school holidays.
