Current travel advice

A NOTE FROM JETSTAR GROUP CHIEF CUSTOMER OFFICER, CATRIONA LARRITT:

Travel is an important part of life, helping us stay connected with friends and family and enjoy a well-earned holiday. At the same time, we know many people are concerned about COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Firstly I want to reassure you that everyone in our teams in Australia and across our international operations, is committed to your wellbeing when you fly.

Jetstar, as part of the Qantas Group, has its own team of medical professionals who are closely monitoring the evolving situation. All the decisions we make are guided by the Qantas Group Medical team and the advice of experts like the World Health Organisation and Australia’s Chief Medical Officer.

The strengthened cleaning procedures we have in place and our hospital-grade air filtration systems on our aircraft, mean that the risk of catching a virus when travelling with us is low.

You can learn more about why you can fly with us with confidence by watching the video below with Dr Russell Brown from the Qantas Group Medical team and reading more information below.

Thank you for your ongoing support - we look forward to welcoming you on board.

Regards,

Catriona
