Booked on the wrong date? Need to change your flight time? Relax, One-hour Quick Fix can help fix your mistakes!
With One-hour Quick Fix, when your booking is confirmed on jetstar.com, you’ve got an hour to make changes. If you’re within the one-hour Quick Fix window, you won’t be charged a Change Fee regardless of your fare type. However, a Fare Difference may still apply depending on your new selection.
When can I use One-hour Quick Fix?
One-hour Quick Fix is currently available for domestic flights in Australia and New Zealand, and all Jetstar Airways (JQ) International flights* including flights connecting to or from a Jetstar Asia (3K) or Jetstar Japan (GK) flight.
*Not available on any Jetstar Airways (JQ) flight connecting to a Jetstar (3K) flight through Darwin.
You can make changes to flight dates and times by going to Manage booking and choosing the ‘Change flights’ tab.
For changes to departure or destination airports, fare types or if you want to transfer your booking to someone else, you will have to Contact us. (Check below for temporary contact centre hours)
If you’re within the one-hour Quick Fix window, you won’t be charged a Change Fee. However, a Fare Difference may still apply depending on your new selection.
Here’s a quick guide to how you can make changes without incurring a Change Fee in the first hour of booking.

If you have booked car hire, travel insurance, airport parking, transfers, a Jetstar holiday package or hotel accommodation, you’ll need to contact each of these service providers and let them know about any changes to your plans.
Temporary contact centre hours:
Due to COVID-19 our English-language contact centre is currently available from 6am-10pm AEST, 7 days a week. If you need help with your One-hour Quick Fix changes and you made your booking after 10pm, get in touch with us before 7am the next day and our team will help you out. Go to Contact us.
The start of the one-hour Quick Fix window begins when your booking is confirmed – when you see the confirmation message on your screen including your booking reference.
Make sure you write your booking reference down, so you can use the One-hour quick fix without having to wait for your itinerary to be emailed to you.
If you’re contacting us to make changes to your booking, the one-hour window applies from the time you make your booking to the time you enter the queue on the phone or online chat. So, don’t worry if you have to wait on the line.
After the one-hour Quick Fix window
You can still make changes more than an hour after your booking but before the change deadline. Refer to fare rules to find out the change deadline for each fare type. A Change Fee may apply – please see our fees and charges.
No fees are payable where you are entitled to a refund or alternative flight under the Australian Consumer Law.
