Wondering what to expect from travelling in these COVID-impacted times? It's true: your experience at the airport and in the air will be different to what you're used to. That’s why we’ve created a handy travel checklist that will guide you through the steps you can take to enjoy a smooth, relaxing trip with us. With preparation comes peace of mind.

Flying with Jetstar in the new travel era

Check out our Fly Well program
Our Fly Well program is designed to improve safety and help you feel comfortable about flying again. Learn about the changes to the way you’ll fly here.

Contact details for all passengers
Please ensure you provide accurate details for each passenger when booking. The Australian Government now requires airlines to collect contact details for all passengers to support contact tracing (if necessary). Our Privacy Policy explains how we store your information.

Check your passport hasn’t expired
It’s been a long time since most of us have travelled overseas, so if you are, be sure to check whether your passport's still valid and has at least six months remaining. Renewing an expired Australian passport generally takes at least three weeks.

Check the latest travel restrictions
Get the latest information on border restrictions, entry requirements and other COVID-related updates on our travel alerts page, where you’ll also find links to any entry documents you need to complete before you fly.

Choose your seat
Learn how we keep you safe, even if someone is sitting next to you.

Pre-book food and drinks for your flight
Pre-order your meals and drinks  from our new menu up to 24 hours before you depart, and minimise contact on board.

Check in online
Reduce unnecessary contact with others and save time by checking in online.

Save your mobile boarding pass
A contact-free boarding process means extra peace of mind. Find out how to use a mobile boarding pass here.

Pre-purchase checked baggage
If you think your carry-on bags will exceed the 7kg limit, we suggest you pre-purchase checked baggage. It's cheaper and easier: simply print a bag tag at an airport kiosk and take your bag to the bag drop.

Thank you for respecting each other and our team and helping us create a safe and positive environment for everyone.
