With travel restrictions changing regularly at the moment, we know you will need flexibility around your travel plans. So we’re giving you some extra flex (and some extra peace of mind) when you book a flight with us.
I want to make a new booking but I need flexibility
To ensure you can book with confidence, Jetstar Asia has introduced further flight flexibility.
One fee-free date change
If you book a Jetstar Asia (3K) flight through jetstar.com between 7 March 2020 and 31 December 2021 for travel before 30 June 2023, we’ll waive the change fee if you decide to change the date of your travel. When you’re ready to rebook, you’ll need to cover any Fare Difference in your new booking and please be sure you make the change before your flight opens for check-in at the airport.
Greater flexibility when using credit vouchers
We’ve recently improved our travel vouchers. New and existing unused travel vouchers issued due to the impact of COVID-19 on travel by Jetstar Asia (3K) have become multi-use vouchers, and are valid for longer. Find out more about our credit vouchers here. Customers can check their credit amount by visiting the voucher balance portal.
My travel plans have changed – what are my options?

If you decide to change the date of your travel, you can make one change to your booking without incurring any change fee. You'll need to cover any Fare Difference in your new booking and make the change before your flight opens for check-in at the airport. Learn more about our Fly Flexible policy.
You can also cancel your booking and request a credit voucher. The fastest and easiest way to request a voucher is by visiting Manage booking and by following these steps:
- Log in using your booking details
- Select 'View other options'
- Select 'Request reimbursement'
- Select applicable flights and click ‘Reimbursement summary’
- Confirm your request
If you booked your holiday through a travel agent
If you made your booking through a travel agent or third-party website (eg Expedia, Skyscanner, etc), and your booking includes hotels, cars or other holiday extras, please contact them for assistance.
If your booking only includes Jetstar flights, you will be able to cancel your flight and request a voucher online. For instructions on how to do this, please view this page
What if my flight is cancelled?
If your upcoming flight is cancelled, we will contact you directly to advise you about your available options.
These may include a free date/time move, a credit voucher to the full value of the unused/untravelled flights, or a cash refund depending on the circumstances of the cancellation.
I still want or need to travel elsewhere overseas – can I?
