Perry House was redeveloped as Royal Albert Hotel to reflect this rich heritage.

Road closing to traffic as work begins on second entrance for new Albert Street station
From Monday 27 July 2020, the section of Albert Street between Charlotte and Elizabeth streets will close to through vehicle traffic.
This closure is required to facilitate construction of the northern station entrance to the future Albert Street station located at 142 Albert Street, known as āLot 3ā, as part of the Cross River Rail Project.
Access to The Royal Albertās driveway will be maintained through the work area via Charlotte Street. Traffic control officers and additional signage will assist motorists around the road closure. Please kindly advise the traffic control officers about your staying at Royal Albert hotel or present the Royal Albert authorized vehicle pass for the road access from 6.30am to 6.30pm (After hours FREE ACCESS). Once you turn into Albert Street, you will pass Betty's Burgers which is situated onto your right, keep driving up and youāll see our long green gate ā pull into our drive way and our gate will automatically open. Youāll then be assisted by our friendly staff who will be able to cater to your needs from then on.
Please kindly be advised that our secure onsite valet car parking is subject to availability with an additional charge of $22.00 per night. Please note that our onsite carpark is only able to take cars under two (2) tonne, 1.8metres high and 5 metres long.
Please also note that on the rare occasion that our car park is full, we can offer alternative car parking arrangements nearby. Parking for oversized vehicles is available at the Myer Centre (maximum height is 2 metres) with a charge of $20.00 for 24-hour parking per entry.
On check in to the hotel you will be required to supply a credit card for a pre authorisation. Deluxe Hotel Rooms One & Two Bedroom Suites require a $200 pre authorisation, Sub Penthouse Apartments require a $500 pre authorisation.
