    Aquarius On The Beach is the only high-rise Motel located on the Strand in Townsville. Featuring over 158 self contained studio units offering uninterrupted breath-taking views of Magnetic Island, the Coral Sea and the exciting Strand Beachfront. All studio rooms contain a queen bed, basic kitchenette facilities, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom, non-smoking balcony and WIFI. Extra beds can be booked direct with the hotel for an extra $30 per night. Aquarius on the Beach is ideally located in close proximity to the CBD and many of Townsville's tourist attractions including the Casino, Great Barrier Reef, Airport, Palmer Street restaurant strip and the Flinders Street night club precinct.     Valid photo ID is required on check in for all guests occupying the room. The person registering at check-in must be at least 18 years of age.

    A valid credit card will be required on arrival to process a pre-authorisation of $200 AUD to cover incidentals. Where no credit card is provided on arrival or a cash bond of $250 will apply.

    If arriving after our reception hours, please contact us to provide your credit card for room security in order for us to organise late arrival check in. If this has not been provided before Reception closes, you will need to speak with our after hours phone service.

    Parking is limited and subject to availability. Parking is not guaranteed. Parking is strictly one vehicle per room that must be registered on check in. Caravans, campervans, motorhome, boat, trailer, jet ski and other like vehicles are not allowed.

    IMPORTANT NOTICE.  We are strictly a NON-SMOKING / NON PARTY establishment for the comfort of our guests. Smoking in rooms or on balconies is not permitted.  A minimum fee of $100 will be charged for smoking in rooms or balconies.  The fee can be as high as $400 if we have to do deep cleaning for removing smell from beddings and lounges.

    Travel insurance is recommended to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

    No shows: A no show is a booking that does not check-in on the scheduled day of arrival which will be cancelled & the room will not be available for check-in after the scheduled arrival time. No refund will be provided with 100% of the reservation charged as a cancellation fee.

    Bed types are request only and may not be honoured at the hotel if availability does not permit.
