The Madison Plaza Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Townsville's shopping and business district, just 10 minutes drive from the airport, and 2 minutes to the beach. The hotel offers a range of guest rooms - all are non-smoking with individually controlled air conditioning, Free wireless internet, LCD Televisions, tea/coffee making facilities and bar fridge. Family Rooms are spacious and perfect for those who want the extra room, all Executive Hotel Rooms have recently undergone a complete refurbishment providing guests with a modern and contemporary space in which to relax after a day of sightseeing or business meetings
Check-in: Reception is open from 9am – 11am and 1pm - 9pm daily. We welcome you to check-in any time after 2pm. If you need to check-in earlier, please phone us on the day of arrival to check if your room is ready. If you require an afterhours check in, please be sure to notify reception in advance so arrangements can be made.
Photo Identification & Payment: All guests are required to present photo ID and a valid credit card during check in.
Full payment is required upon check in. If the credit card holders name does not match the name on the reservation, a Credit Card Authorisation Form will need to be completed by the card holder.
The primary guest must be at least 18 years old.
Afterhours: As we are only staffed from 9am – 11am and 1pm - 9pm daily, emergency afterhours assistance is available for guests who are locked out of their room due to a faulty or lost room tag. Contact information is advertised in reception.

Tow Away Zone: Flinders Street between Denham and Stanley Streets is closed 3am to 3pm every Sunday for the Cotters Markets. This area is a tow-away zone from 3am on Sunday mornings. Parking restrictions are clearly marked and car recovery is at owner's expense.
